FERI starts the new year with Werte-Stiftung: partnership strengthens liberal democratic values

FERI AG will become an official partner of the Werte-Stiftung (Value Foundation) in the new year. Together, they pursue the goal of sustainably strengthening liberal democratic values in society and education. FERI's support is both financial and practical. As part of the cooperation, school projects will be designed and organized to promote students' understanding of democracy.

“A new year always marks a new beginning – and that is exactly what this partnership stands for,” says Dr. Anna-Lisa Schwarz, Managing Director of the Werte-Stiftung. “Thanks to FERI's support, we can consistently expand our work, increase our impact, and, above all, support young people in taking responsibility and living democracy in their everyday lives.”

FERI will support the expansion of the school project “Werte (er)leben” (Experience Values) and will be involved in initiatives related to value-oriented innovations, including the “Hand-in-Hand @Start-up Land” agenda. The partnership also complements FERI's existing cooperation with the former subsidiary of the Werte-Stiftung, Futury, which is committed to value-oriented innovations and the establishment of a start-up factory in the Rhine-Main area, thereby strengthening the connection between innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.

For FERI, this cooperation is another important step in assuming social responsibility. Marcel Renné, CEO of FERI AG, emphasizes: “Social cohesion and sustainability arise where responsibility becomes concrete. With the Values Foundation, we support projects that provide guidance, promote democratic skills, and enable engagement.”

The partnership builds on FERI's diverse social engagement, which includes education and future-oriented topics. As part of the FERI4Education initiative, FERI initiates and organizes projects on high-quality education and sustainable development at local schools and universities – including democracy education. This is a field that is being further strengthened by the cooperation of the Werte-Stiftung and its commitment to values and democracy education for children and young people.
