FERI, the multi-asset investment house, is strengthening its management team: Dr. Wolfgang Baums will become divisional director for investment research as of October 1 and will also assume responsibility for the newly created FERI Investment Office.
"With Dr. Baums, we have gained a very experienced investment expert for our house, who will actively support us as a member of our Management Committee in the realization of our strategic goals and in close coordination with our CIO, Dr. Marcel V. Lähn, in the further development of our investment strategy," says Marcel Renné, Chairman of the Management Board of the FERI Group.
Wolfgang Baums holds a doctorate in business administration and has held management positions at ODDO BHF AG since 2007. There, he was responsible for asset management as Managing Director, among other things, and was appointed Head of Products & Services in 2016. In 2019, Dr. Baums moved to BNP Paribas Private Wealth Management in the same role. "FERI AG, with its unique combination of wealth management and proprietary research, is one of the most important investment houses for institutional investors and private clients. I am very much looking forward to helping build the new Investment Office into the heart of the investment strategy at FERI," says Dr. Wolfgang Baums.
In the future, the FERI Investment Office will bundle the entire investment research and investment management expertise of the FERI Group.

The main task of the interdisciplinary team he will lead is the even broader and deeper integration of alternative investments as well as future and sustainability issues into the FERI investment strategy," explains Dr. Marcel V.
