Amid geopolitical upheaval and technological disruption through AI, the European Union faces important questions for the future. The challenges range from raw material security to dwindling global influence to strengthening sovereignty. Increasingly, it is becoming clear that Europe's old "operating system" is coming under pressure and urgently needs an update.
A study by the FERI Cognitive Finance Institute - in cooperation with experts from the CEP, Centres for European Policy Network - illustrates how complex the underlying problems are, which strategic approaches to solving them are emerging, and what urgent steps are needed for Europe.
