The history of FERI is a success story. Its origins were in a small, family-run research and consulting company in Bad Homburg, which was founded in 1987 as an independent family office in the environment of the Quandt family. To date, the company has grown into a business with around 250 employees and locations in Bad Homburg, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Munich, Luxembourg, Vienna and Zurich. 

However, success is not only manifested in the size or international presence of a company, but also in the traces it leaves behind in its market or market segment. FERI has actively shaped the asset-based services industry in German-speaking countries and has pioneered some of its segments. FERI established the first independent external family office, was the first independent company to offer fund-based investment advice for larger assets and was the first independent consultant for institutional investors.
